The Creative Practitioner - This module focuses on developing professional skills relevant to working both in the music industry and further afield. The module has a focus on enterprise, entrepreneurialism, and professional development; students will explore a variety of ways by which they might manage their professional careers.
DAW1 - This module develops a solid understanding of the practical use and operation of Logic Pro X as a Digital Audio Workstation (i.e. a software multi-track recorder, editor, audio and MIDI sequencer). Although based primarily inside computer software, the module demonstrates how many of the elements of theory and practice covered are transferable to other, specialised areas. The module takes the form of lectures covering the theoretical and general concepts behind DAW techniques.
Music & Sound Design for Media - This module introduces students to the essentials of storytelling, narrative and drama through music and sound design. The module contains theoretical work to help analyse, reflect and understand the relationship between music, sound, and moving images.
I’m a happy man… I’ve just been notified that my cue “Exosphere Conflict” has been selected and synced by Discovery Investigation as part of their upcoming promotional campaigns in the USA. Can’t wait to see it go live!
I'm inviting you to partner with me at a number of different levels depending on your needs and desired experience... Tiers range from throwing a couple of bucks my way to support my work, to exclusive access to behind-the-scenes content; private communities; weekly Discord hangouts, music downloads and even private 1-2-1 tuition and support sessions with myself tailored to your individual needs.
I'm trying to build a new community-focused around film music, music production, music composition, troubleshooting, DAWs, plugins, outboard gear, placements, music business, mixing, mastering, sample libraries, and way more. A community that does not involve you needing to use Facebook or Twitter and a where like-minded people can hang out undisturbed. Is Discord the answer?

Aurora Eclipse Productions are proud to announce my fourth cinematic music album release in the form of the aptly named, “CINEMATIC”.
Back in 2016, AEPL released my first album, “Awakening, the Early Scores”. This compilation album contained film music cues contained within any short film projects I had worked on to that point. For me, it highlighted the beginning of a career, and releasing an album of these early efforts was a good way to stamp this in time. Skip forward 5 years and in a similar vein, I now release “CINEMATIC”.
Great to see my music is doing the rounds primarily on Paramount and Discovery this time round with some placements also popping up in India, Canada, Russia, Australia, and the U.K…
I’m yet to find out exactly what show/promotional piece the music has featured on. But I know my cues “Exosphere Conflict” and "Nature Seems Dead… And Wicked Dreams Abuse” have both been used!
