Associate Lecturer: The University of Northampton

The Creative Practitioner - This module focuses on developing professional skills relevant to working both in the music industry and further afield. The module has a focus on enterprise, entrepreneurialism, and professional development; students will explore a variety of ways by which they might manage their professional careers.

DAW1 - This module develops a solid understanding of the practical use and operation of Logic Pro X as a Digital Audio Workstation (i.e. a software multi-track recorder, editor, audio and MIDI sequencer). Although based primarily inside computer software, the module demonstrates how many of the elements of theory and practice covered are transferable to other, specialised areas. The module takes the form of lectures covering the theoretical and general concepts behind DAW techniques.

Music & Sound Design for Media - This module introduces students to the essentials of storytelling, narrative and drama through music and sound design. The module contains theoretical work to help analyse, reflect and understand the relationship between music, sound, and moving images.

Guest Lecture: Northampton University’s “Changing Futures” Week

I am pleased to announce that I have been offered the opportunity to guest lecture at Northampton University next month as part of their Changing Futures week to discuss my endeavors in the film and music industry.

Tight competition as Poornima Seetharaman of Zynga is speaking at the same time. Should be fun, I am looking forward to having a chat with the students and hopeful I can give them some ideas to think about. For any students who were present for the lecture and want some clarity, feel free to contact me.
